Aliens, Huh?
Holy moly a lot has happened. For one thing - for those who don’t know - I have moved! I’ve been setting up protections, moving in, getting my plants situated, and getting used to such a big change. And now? ALIENS!
I’m not going to lie - I believe in aliens. One hundred percent. There’s too much space for there to not be life aside from humans. I tend to be skeptical of abduction stories, but I have heard a few that I find compelling. And now, we have on record, government officials claiming that we have alien bodies? Can’t say I’m shocked. I am interested to see what happens over the next few days/weeks/months - if anything. And really, there’s a possibility nothing more will happen yet.
What scares me a little more is the idea that this could be a diversionary tactic on the part of our government. I say that because people with uteruses (like myself), and people of color are losing rights all over the nation. I don’t mean to be horrible, but I can’t help but be a little more worried about what’s being done that we don’t know about. After all, if aliens are here and they want to hurt us, I have no doubt that they could have and would have already.
It also worries me that the Catholic church has basically acknowledged the existance of aliens. They’ve been both subtle and careful about it, but they have. Aliens should, by all rights, disprove God and the concept of a singular messiah responsible for saving everyone. Yet, the Catholic church is getting ahead of it already. SOmeone on their PR team is on the proverbial ball, that that makes me nervous.
I guess what I’m advising for the moment is to 1) try not to be scared of the aliens until we have reason to be and 2) keep your eyes on what’s really going on in legislation and with political figures (religious or not).
Anyway, that’s my two cents.
