Hedge Witch and Heathenry
February 25, 2024
I hope everyone had fun during last night’s full moon, whether you were transforming into a canine version of yourself, dancing naked around a bonfire, or sitting at home and playing Persona 3 Reloaded (like I did).
I’m now thirty-five years old, and I gotta say – it’s pretty awesome. I’m genuinely very proud of how far I’ve come in the past year. I went from living in a one bedroom apartment to owning my own home (shout out to my friends and family for supporting me during that insanely exciting and stressful time). I’ve had some tearful goodbyes, and some amazing healing. Last year was full of good, bad, and in-between, and I’m really looking forward to what this year has for me.
One cool thing I’ve been doing is rekindling my love for things I used to do as a kid. I used to sketch, write lyrics and poems, and pretend to create potions and powders and healing elixirs for friends during our pretend play. Now, I’m finding the joy in sketching, designing, and allowing myself to create. I’ve been creating things like black salt (I’ll do a post on black salt and other protection powders, don’t worry), money oils, and, just other fun little witchy things. I’m preparing for something I’m hoping to have ready by the next new moon – and I’ll put up a blog post then about it 😊
As far as this blog, I’m going to continue to write about witchcraft, spiritualism, paganism, and the paranormal – because those are interesting to me, and I genuinely enjoy writing about them. My goal is to put out a post twice a month at least, and use it as a means to educate myself and others who are interested on aspects of the paranormal and pagan.
There’s more I’m looking to do this year, but this is my start.
Enjoy!
